2019 CATESOL Los Angeles Regional Conference
The conference theme is “Fostering Growth, Learning, and Development.” This year the conference will host a Novice Teachers’ Panel. This panel, consisting of program administrators and teachers from a variety of community colleges and school districts, is designed to answer questions of concern to novice teachers.
The conference will also host an app fair. Stop by the fair if you want to showcase an app you use in your classes or if you want to learn about the use of apps in the ESL/EFL classroom. The app fair will also feature a panel of technology experts who will be sharing their expertise on the integration of technology in the second language classroom.
Besides the many exciting sessions and CATESOL’s traditional level sessions, this year the LA Regional Conference will host four outstanding featured speakers who will address issues of interest to ESL teachers at all levels of instruction. Here is information on the sessions:
“Monitoring Affect and Minimizing Language Learners’ Language Anxiety to Foster Growth, Learning, and Development in the ESL Classroom”
